Nana Daronatsy

(July 20, 1958 – May 26, 2020) Books were the connection that gave me the gift of Nana’s friendship for 21 years until her death from metastatic breast cancer during the first wave of the pandemic. Through the close circle of friendship created in our 20+ years of book club, we shared the stories of raising our children, living through ups and downs of life, laughing a lot, and sometimes

(September 24, 1945 – June 29, 2021)  Dad had a lifelong love for photography and kept a flash meter nearby. He often said that measuring and adjusting appropriately to available light were among the most important photography skills. He gifted many photos to loved ones who in turn appreciated his eye for overlooked details and unique angles. As we continue to appreciate the love and creativity shared in his photography, we will continue to be

Everytime I see a Dairy Queen I can’t help but think of my dad and his insatiable sweet tooth! Submitted by: Ashley Reader, daughter

The taste of that sauce will always keep her memory alive for

My Lord God, I have no idea where I am going. I do not see the road ahead of me. I cannot know for certain where it will end. nor do I really know myself, and the fact that I think I am following your will does not mean that I am actually doing so. But I believe that the desire to please you does in fact please you. And I
