Was a husband, father, brother, and friend…These beautiful roses are special because my husband Herman Hackworth planted them over twenty years ago just so that the mother of his children would always have roses every year on Mother’s Day. (January 6, 1944 – June 7, 2020) My father loved ice cream, specifically soft serve and more specifically a Dairy Queen Blizzard. He ordered up his own concoction and the people that worked at the DQ that he frequented knew his special recipe. Butterfinger Blizzard with strawberry sauce and pecans.
